Scalp Reduction Surgery was a common
procedure years ago. However, clinics performing this procedure later discovered a common irreversible problem. The skin is elastic.
It is similar to a rubber band and can be stretched to an amazing degree. But just like a rubber band, it can also go back to its
original shape.
Many patients who had scalp reduction procedures discovered their scalp would stretch back to almost the same

procedure you must have a minimum of three folds of skin. You must take your hands on the right side and the left side of the head
pushing up with your hands and getting the three folds of skin between them. If you cannot get the three folds of skin between your
fingers then you are not a candidate for a successful scalp reduction.
