Cost of Hair Transplant

The cost of each hair graft with our Medical Institute is currently only $3 per graft normally $6 per graft. We were the first Medical Institute to offer grafts for $3 and the only Medical Institute to offer $3 grafts in ANY SIZE graft.

Although there are other clinics and chains out there which wheel and deal, be careful of what you are getting and read the fine print! Our price of only $3.00 is for FOLLICULAR grafts, which are the most popular grafts in use today. Follicular grafts (consisting of 1-haired and 2 haired) are FANTASTIC for creating frontal hairlines where transplanted grafts should be less noticeable.

However, larger size grafts are acceptable and preferred for the crown and mid-scalp (away from frontal hairlines) because they give you a GREATER DENSITY OF HAIR! (Some clinics call this combination a "vari-grafting" approach).

With the larger size grafts, you are going to be paying less per actual hair. For example, a mini graft consisting of say 3 hairs will cost you about $1.00 per hair with our Medical Institute, (3 hairs ÷ 3 dollars = $1.00 per hair).

To achieve the same density with follicular grafts, you would need at least two hair grafts consisting of 2 hairs each. Those two hair grafts, charged at the same price would still be $3 per graft.

Your cost is approximately twice as much, or more per hair! (ANYWHERE ELSE) - Understand the big difference?

The minimum procedure of grafts with our Medical Institute is 334 grafts. The minimum amount you will ever have to pay for your surgery is $1,000. This is one of the lowest hair graft minimums you will ever find in the USA. (Many Doctors don't want to waste their time on what they consider "small procedures" whether it is more beneficial to you or not.)

Another thing to be careful of is firms that say they charge $3 per hair graft - but read the fine print. This is usually the price per graft AFTER you pay the full price on say 1,000 plus grafts. This is called a sliding scale fee. In other words, the more grafts you have implanted, the less cost per graft. Don't ever let a hair loss clinic talk you into getting more grafts just because they are cheaper when you buy more. This "buy cheaper in bulk" mentality is a slick, tricky and unethical sales tool to get more money out of you.

Our Medical Institute does not have a sliding scale fee system. Your price is only and always, $3 per hair graft, with a minimum of 334 hair grafts. (Call us for special circumstances.)

The nationwide average cost per graft with other firms is $6-$9. Clinics charging $4 and $5 per graft (with or without stipulations) are also common. If the average cost per graft is between $4 and $8 that gives you an average of $6.00 per graft. Using that amount, let's compare our price with this average $6.00 figure we have established.
